In connection with the movement of cricket teams, diversions will be placed at various locations on the Express Highway, Srinagar Highway, Murree Road and Club Road.
1. Diversions will be in place at various locations on Srinagar Highway from Serena Chowk to Ninth Avenue.
Traffic on Srinagar Highway should use Suhrawardy Road, Service Road G-8, Service Road G-9 and Zero Point, while traffic heading towards Faizabad should use Faisal Avenue, and traffic heading towards Ninth Avenue should use Service Road East.
2. Citizens travelling from Korang towards Islamabad should use the Old Airport, Rawal Road, Rawalpindi Murree Road, I.J.P. Road and Faqueer Aipee Road.
3. In case Korang Express Highway, Murree Road and Club Road are closed, the alternative routes are Lehtrar Road and Park Road.
4. Similarly, citizens travelling out of Islamabad should use Jinnah Avenue and Margalla Road.
5. Citizens travelling from Bhara Kahu towards Islamabad should use Bani Gala and Park Road.
Traffic congestion on the roads is likely to increase during the diversions.
Citizens should leave for their journeys with an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
Islamabad Traffic Police officers are present to facilitate citizens.
