At an age when children are still learning to recognise letters properly, Advay Jain has set a Guinness World Record by publishing his book.
The Youngest Author
Advay Jain, an Indian-origin child living in the United States, was born on April 23, 2022, in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. According to international media reports, he has become the world’s youngest male to publish a book.
Guinness World Records confirmed this achievement on April 3, 2026, in New Jersey.
Advay’s book is titled Dino Learns Not to Waste Food. Through the story of a little dinosaur, children are taught that food is a blessing and that they should value it instead of wasting it.
This message is not just for children but also for adults, because large quantities of food are wasted around the world every year. In such circumstances, a book written by a three-year-old child also encourages adults to think.
Where Did the Idea Come From?
Interestingly, the idea for the book did not come from a major project. According to the report, what Advay saw and felt during lunch break at school became the basis of the story. In this way, he turned an ordinary everyday experience into an educational story for children.
This incident makes one thing clear: children’s attention and observations should not be underestimated. If they are encouraged and given an opportunity, they can develop big ideas from the little things around them.
Advay Jain’s story proves that creativity has no age limit. All it takes is an idea, a little guidance, and a great deal of belief.
