Security forces killed 10 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Barkhan district on October 10.

The operation was conducted in the Rara Sham area of Barkhan following intelligence reports about the presence of the group’s terrorist. Security forces acted on the information and launched an operation against the suspected terrorist hideout.

During the operation, security personnel killed 10 Fitna al-Hindustan. A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession, according to the available details.

The operation marks a security action against suspected Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan, where security forces continue efforts to counter terrorism and prevent attacks that threaten public safety and regional stability.

Intelligence-based operations play an important role in identifying suspected terrorist locations, disrupting their activities and recovering weapons that could be used in attacks. The operation in Rara Sham was carried out as part of these counterterrorism efforts.

Security forces have reiterated their commitment to eliminating Fitna al-Hindustan threats, including the networks and facilitators supporting terrorist activities. Authorities continue to emphasise intelligence-led action to protect citizens and maintain law and order across Balochistan.

Earlier, two terrorists of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) were killed during a security operation after they set fire to an empty water bowser in the Nokcha area of Chagai District in Balochistan province and attempted to flee the scene.

According to sources, the two individuals set the empty water bowser ablaze before trying to escape. Security forces responded immediately and launched a pursuit. Both individuals were killed in an ensuing exchange of fire.

Sources said the deceased were confirmed BLA members and had allegedly been involved in arson incidents at various locations along the N-40 highway. The incident comes weeks after a major security operation on August 31, in which, according to security sources, 11 alleged BLA terrorists were killed while allegedly attempting similar acts.

Security sources said arson and other alleged subversive activities were common features of both incidents. Authorities are also investigating a possible link between the latest operation and earlier incidents along the N-40 highway.

Security has been further tightened in the Nokcha area following the incident. Operations against alleged subversive activities are continuing, while further investigations are underway into the latest incident and the alleged involvement of the deceased in previous attacks.
