Peshawar rejects chaotic politics as life goes on normally

Despite political tensions and fears of insecurity, life went on largely as usual in Peshawar as people engaged in their normal routines, with markets, roads and commercial areas running their usual patterns.

Citizens continued with their normal activities with a sense of calm in the city, keeping their work and businesses, as well as their daily activities, as a focus.

The political situation was different from that which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted. PTI is criticised for its political stance and has been calling for demonstrations.

KP is a key area of concern for terrorist activities, with the Federal Government stressing the importance of stability and enhancing security protocols due to the risk of terrorist attacks.

The government has insisted that its actions are justified to tackle security threats and fend off further erosion of law and order.

In the meantime, there has been no halt to the regular running of commercial and public affairs in Peshawar, which indicates that people are still eager to carry on their everyday affairs.

Markets and roads were open and people were carrying on their business as usual, highlighting the need for stability in these sectors to support businesses and ordinary households.

The incident also underscores the province’s bigger problem of combating threats of terrorism and security issues without allowing PTI politics to spread chaos.

The emphasis is on preserving peace, protecting citizens and allowing people to carry on with their economic and social activities unhindered.

The issue of stability and security is of paramount importance for Peshawar’s inhabitants, where normal life goes on despite the political conflicts that are playing out in the broader province.
