Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Huzaifa Rehman, has claimed that the prime minister’s intelligence quotient (IQ) is close to that of renowned scientist Isaac Newton, describing his intellectual abilities as extraordinary.

Speaking during a programme on a private news channel, Huzaifa Rehman discussed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s working style, administrative capabilities and the performance of federal cabinet members.

He claimed that the prime minister works from 6 am until 10 pm and holds a federal cabinet meeting every week.

According to Rehman, Shehbaz Sharif has zero tolerance for corruption and incompetence and expects ministers to maintain exceptionally high standards of performance.

He further claimed that the prime minister’s expectations are so demanding that, if given a free hand, he would dismiss 52 or 53 ministers from the existing 55-member federal cabinet and retain only two or three.

Comparing the prime minister’s intelligence to that of legendary scientist Isaac Newton, Rehman said he often tells Shehbaz Sharif that his IQ is close to Newton’s.

Elaborating on his remarks, Rehman stated that Isaac Newton’s IQ is historically estimated at around 168, while Shehbaz Sharif’s ability to make quick decisions and understand complex situations suggests that his IQ could be between 158 and 160.

However, these figures are speculative, as Newton never took a modern IQ test and no verified IQ test result for Shehbaz Sharif was presented.

Rehman clarified that his remarks were intended to highlight the prime minister’s exceptional intellectual and administrative capabilities.

He also maintained that his statements had been taken out of context and misrepresented on social media.
