iPhone 12 Pro Max price in Pakistan drops to lowest level

iPhone 12 Pro Max price in Pakistan

Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max has quietly become one of the best value used iPhones in Pakistan right now. Prices have fallen sharply, making it a serious option for buyers on a tighter budget, especially those upgrading from older models like the iPhone X, XS, 11 or even the 11 Pro Max.

What once felt out of reach is now within buying range for many users who still want a large screen, strong cameras and smooth iOS performance.

How much does the iPhone 12 Pro Max cost in Pakistan?

At its peak, the iPhone 12 Pro Max was selling for as much as Rs245,000 in Pakistan. That price was largely driven by import costs, PTA taxes and limited availability.

Fast forward to today, and the situation looks very different. Used PTA approved units are now widely available in local mobile markets at much lower prices.

A PTA approved iPhone 12 Pro Max in excellent condition, with battery health above 80 percent and a scratchless body, can be found for around Rs140,000. If you are looking for the 256GB variant, prices usually hover near Rs150,000, depending on condition and battery health.

For many buyers, this puts the phone in a sweet spot between price and performance.

Still powerful despite its age

The iPhone 12 Pro Max may look a few years old on paper, but it still performs like a modern flagship. Powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset and paired with 6GB RAM, the phone runs the latest iOS versions smoothly and handles daily tasks without any lag.

In fact, its raw performance still beats several brand new smartphones in Pakistan that cost well above Rs150,000.

Here is how the iPhone 12 lineup performs on AnTuTu benchmarks:

iPhone 12: 1,199,867

iPhone 12 mini: 1,202,960

iPhone 12 Pro: 1,197,679

iPhone 12 Pro Max: 1,259,642

These numbers show why the phone continues to feel fast, even five years after launch.

Prices of other iPhone 12 models in Pakistan

If the Pro Max feels too large or expensive, other models in the iPhone 12 series are even more affordable.

A PTA approved iPhone 12 base model can be bought for as low as Rs90,000. The iPhone 12 mini is cheaper still, often available around Rs82,000. Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro usually starts from about Rs125,000 for a PTA approved unit.

This gives buyers several options, depending on screen size and budget.

iPhone 12 lineup display sizes

Screen size is one of the biggest differences between the models:

iPhone 12 mini: 5.4-inch display

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro: 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina display

iPhone 12 Pro Max: 6.7-inch display

The Pro Max remains the best choice for users who prefer a larger screen for videos, gaming and reading.

A quick look back at the launch

Apple officially unveiled the iPhone 12 series on October 13, 2020. In Pakistan, PTA approved models were sold through importers and authorised distributors such as Airlink and Mercantile, complete with local warranty.

That official availability helped the phone maintain strong resale value over the years.

Is iPhone 12 still worth buying?

For anyone upgrading from an older iPhone, the iPhone 12 Pro Max still feels like a major step forward. The large display, strong cameras and reliable performance make it a solid daily phone even today.

At current prices, it offers a balance that is hard to ignore in Pakistan’s expensive smartphone market. If condition and battery health are good, the iPhone 12 Pro Max remains a smart buy in 2025.
