Scholarship benefits

Benefits include a 100 per cent tuition fee waiver for selected candidates, and monthly living allowances for certain programs.

Types of scholarships

Aalto University offers a full tuition fee scholarship under Category A.

This option covers the entire tuition cost and is awarded to highly talented international students through a competitive selection process.

Category B scholarships cover 50 per cent of tuition fees, and students under this category may apply for additional financial aid.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must have relevant prior education for their chosen degree level and a strong academic background.

A good CGPA will improve the chances of selection of the candidate.

English language proficiency is required. IELTS or TOEFL are usually important.

However, some programs accept applicants without IELTS if prior education was completed in English.

Candidates must also meet Aalto University’s program-specific admission requirements and submit complete applications before the deadline.

Required documents

Students are required to submit a valid passport, educational certificates, and academic transcripts.

Proof of English proficiency is needed along with a statement of purpose, motivation letter, updated CV, and recommendation letters.
