Web desk: An Indian drone has crashed on the outskirts of Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital of Maidan Wardak, Afghanistan.

After the Afghan Taliban took over in August 2021, following the withdrawal of US forces, India had to shut its embassy and its diplomats and citizens out of the country.
Years later, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindu nationalist government welcomed an Afghan delegation. It was led by the Taliban administration’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi in the capital, New Delhi.
After the visit, New Delhi announced that it would be “upgrading its technical mission” in Kabul to “a full-fledged embassy”, said Al Jazeera, TheWeek reported.
However, the latest developments have been deemed problematic by the observers. Social media users question if it is another attempt by India to destabilise the region.
