Emirates has announced plans to upgrade its Dubai–Karachi service by offering its Premium Economy Boeing 777-200LR flight operation, likely to launch on March 1, 2026.

The Boeing 777-200LR will feature a three-cabin layout, including First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.
In a statement, Emirates said passengers will be able to experience its “award-winning Premium Economy”, alongside entertainment and regionally inspired cuisine.

Emirates said the move is aimed at offering travellers a more comfortable option between Economy and Business Class. The Premium Economy cabin includes more legroom, with upgraded features, and an outclass dining experience compared with standard Economy seating.
The Karachi project
The Karachi service is part of a wider rollout of Emirates’ latest cabin products. The airline said it is continuing to deploy retrofitted Boeing 777s, refreshed A380s and its new A350 aircraft across key destinations in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa and Australia.
Tickets for the Dubai–Karachi service are available through the Emirates website, mobile app, retail stores and authorised travel agents.
Emirates operates one of the largest international networks from Dubai and serves Pakistan with multiple daily flights.

Expanding flights globally
Other cities included in the Premium Economy expansion plans include Addis Ababa, Barcelona, Basra, Cochin, Copenhagen, Mexico City, Rome, Taipei and Tehran.

By July 1, Emirates expects Premium Economy-equipped aircraft to be operating on more than 84 routes across its global network. The airline says this reflects its focus on offering a more consistent onboard experience across destinations.
