Zone VI have recorded their first win, with Zone-I and Zone-VII securing their second consecutive victories in the Regional Inter-District Under-19 (U-19) One Day Cricket League Tournament.
Exceptional centuries were delivered by Huzaifa Ahsan and Muhammad Humza Malik.
Zone-VI defeated Zone-III by 166 runs after posting nearly 282 for seven in their allotted 50 overs.
Huzaifa Ahsan came out on a winning streak at 123 with 18 fours and a six.
On the other hand, Hammad Alam added 53 and Muhammad Azaan 34.
Anas Baloch secured three wickets for 90 runs alongside Asadullah Khan and Asad Akhtar taking two wickets each for Zone-III.
Haider Ali scored 33 while Anas Baloch claimed 32. Niwab Shafiq, the pick of the bowlers secured four wickets for 28 runs.
Saad Sakhawat won three for 23.
Zone-VII successfully defeated Zone-II by 91 runs to score their second consecutive victory amid the cricket tournament.
Muhammad Humza Malik bowled out Zone-I by securing a winning knock of 102 with 17 boundaries and two sixes.
While Zone V was dismissed for 203 in 45.3 overs, Majid Ali was at the centre of the match with numbers of four for 31.
The next round of matches is expected to take place on June 23 according to the official schedule.
Zone-V will face Zone-IV at the UBL Sports Complex while Zone-II will compete against Zone-VI at the KCCA Stadium.
Finally, Zone-III will take on Zone-VII at Eid Gah Ground in Korangi, Karachi.
