Grammy nominated producer Tay Keith, famous for working with artists like Drake, Travis Scott and Eminem, was recently found dead in his Nashville apartment.
According to the Nashville police, the producer was found dead by officers after a welfare check. However, no foul play is suspected in his death.
Tay Keith’s cause of death has not been released yet. An autopsy is being carried out at the moment.
The producer has a long list of star studded artists he was worked throughout his career. Some of these stars include Lil Baby, 21 Savage and J Cole.
His best work is Travis Scott’s hit song, ‘Sicko Mode’. It earned him his very first Grammy Award nomination back in 2019.
Drake and 21 Savage’s Rich Flex earned him his second nomination in the best rap category in 2024.
It is important to note that Tay Keith also helped launch a few hip-hop artists into global success. He has also been featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Music list.
Some of his other massive hits include Drake’s ‘Nonstop’, Eminem’s ‘Not Alike’ and BlocBoy JB’s ‘Look Alike’.
He has produced tracks for some of the biggest artists in the rap industry including Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled.
