With the deadline fast approaching the authorities in Islamabad have renewed calls for vehicle owners to complete their M-Tag registration without delay.
According to the officials that the process has been streamlined to ensure quick compliance as the city prepares for full implementation.
Motorists are required to bring only two documents for registration the vehicle’s registration card or book and the CNIC of the owner.
According to officials, no additional paperwork or lengthy formalities are involved, allowing eligible applicants to receive their M-Tag on the spot.
To facilitate residents, One Network has set up 15 dedicated M-Tag registration centers across the capital, offering easy access in various localities.

- Islamabad toll plaza (M-2 Entry)
This is the most commonly used M-Tag registration point for motorists entering Islamabad from Lahore.
2. M-1 Islamabad interchange (Burhan side)
Located near the Islamabad interchange on the M-1 Motorway
3. Faizabad interchange M-Tag center
This center serves Rawalpindi–Islamabad daily commuters.
4. Zero Point toll plaza (Islamabad Expressway)
One of the busiest M-Tag points in Islamabad.
5. IJP road M-Tag registration desk
Serves residents of eastern Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
6. srinagar highway M-Tag center
Previously known as Kashmir Highway, this center connects major sectors.
7. Sector G-11 M-Tag service point
A neighborhood-based registration facility.
8. Sector G-13 M-Tag registration center
Caters to newly developed residential areas.
9. H-13 service road M-Tag desk
Located near educational institutions and hostels.
10. M-14 (Hakla–D.I. Khan) Islamabad entry point
This center is essential for long-distance travelers heading toward KPK and southern Punjab.
11. Islamabad Airport access road M-Tag center
Located near Islamabad International Airport access road.
12. Chakri Interchange (Islamabad side)
Serves vehicles entering Islamabad from eastern Punjab.
13. Rawat toll plaza (Islamabad boundary)
Although technically near Rawalpindi, it serves Islamabad traffic.
14. Islamabad Expressway korang interchange
Strategically placed for southern Islamabad residents.
15. Blue Area mobile M-Tag registration unit
A rotating mobile registration unit deployed in Blue Area.
Authorities warn that drivers who fail to register before the deadline may face inconvenience at toll plazas once enforcement begins.
