Audi A6 sportback E-Tron price in Pakistan

Audi Pakistan has announced the booking price for its new ‘A6 Sportback E-Tron Signature’ today, introducing the German brand’s latest entry into the country’s growing electric vehicle (EV) market.

The introductory price is set at Rs29 million (2.9 crore), with bookings now officially open. The company says the price positions the car to compete with European rivals and premium Chinese EVs.

On-Road price

Well, after you get your brand new Audi A6 Sportback e-tron out of the showroom, it does not mean that you have paid all the tax. The next step is the number plate installation. According to the latest policies of the Excise and Taxation Department (Punjab, Sindh), the following prices will also be included to get your car on the road:

Buyers to pay additional taxes

While the booking price is 2.9 crore, the buyers will still have to pay the additional taxes and fees before taking the car on the road. Imported electric cars pay a reduced 25% customs duty under the government’s ‘EV Policy 2020-26’. They also have lower sales tax than regular petrol cars.

The 2025-26 federal budget set GST at 18% for the smallest cars, but premium electric vehicles currently pay lower rates, usually 1% or 10%, to support green imports.

Many price analysts of the vehicles had expected a price above Rs40 million, similar to BMW’s i5. Audi is using special government tax rules for electric cars to keep the price lower for the elite class buyers.

With an invoice price of 2.9 crore, the A6 e-tron is relatively cheap compared to the other EVs, with the latest technology. But if the government applies 18% GST as required by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on all EVs later this year, the price could go up.
