Field Marshal Asim Munir emerges as powerful Chief of Defence Forces: The Wire

Indian media has openly acknowledged the role of the Chief of Army Staff and the Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the defence capability of Pakistan.

A report published in the Indian media outlet The Wire openly acknowledges the role of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Pakistan’s defence capabilities.

The Indian magazine The Wire has said in its analytical report that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has emerged as an authoritative Chief of Defence Forces who is leading Pakistan’s armed forces.

According to the report, Pakistan has further organised and strengthened its defence structure in view of the changing situation in the region.

The report, referring to Pakistan’s defence measures, says that Pakistan has established a modern rocket force to ensure its security, which is an important part of its defence strategy.

Under the leadership of CDF COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Pakistani forces have acquired a coherent and effective command structure.

This structure has played an important role in maintaining the balance of power in the region.

The Wire expressed serious concern in its report about the growing extremism and the impact of Hindutva ideology within India.

The report further adds that hatred, revenge, and aggressive thinking are becoming prominent in current Indian policies, which are becoming a threat not only to regional peace but also to the internal stability of India itself.

Specifically referring to the Youth Summit held in New Delhi, the report said that Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval encouraged the youth to adopt a vengeful mindset, which could have negative effects on future policymaking.

According to The Wire, the National Security Advisor of India, Ajit Doval’s provocative statements could have profound effects on Indian national security strategy and decisions.

The report fears that the “doctrine of retaliation” could deliberately provoke a major conflict or even war.

In this context, India’s Kashmir policy was also criticised, where, instead of resolving the issue, a mindset based on force and revenge is being preferred, which is further complicating the situation.

The Wire, mentioning Operation “Sindoor”, wrote that this operation made it clear that Pakistan is a serious, organised, and powerful adversary for India, which cannot be ignored, experts in the report said.

Opinions were also included, according to which Ajit Doval’s aggressive speeches will further strengthen violent elements in India and may increase chaos and instability within the country.
