KP has rejected the calls for a rally by PTI leaders once again today. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa arrived at Peshawar Jhangra Stop with only 10-15 workers to welcome him.
Majority of the party leadership is absent and a very small number of workers and supporters are present indicating that the call to rally has been rejected by the people of KP.
The turnout for PTI’s street movement is minimal; the number of police and journalists present at the rally exceeds the number of supporters and workers.
The presence of minimal workers and supporters at the rally indicates that the people of KP have rejected the narrative of PTI. PTI’s previous rally at the Hazara Division was a similar flop were only a handful of supporters and workers showed up.
These rallies are an indication of the unpopularity PTI is facing in KP, as PTI keeps on focusing on political point scoring and not on the issues of the province. The funds of the government are being used to fuel such flop rallies, which should be spent on the actual issues of the province.
Their rally today is also extremely disorganised and undisciplined as PTI workers were seen fighting among themselves.
Other than that as always, this PTI rally has also caused inconvenience to common people and commuters, as commuters on GT road in Peshawar are experiencing temporary blocks causing inconvenience.
The rally is also using government resources extensively by displaying banners across Peshawar city.
The rally will begin at Peshawar and make its way to Nowshera and Mardan. The last stop of the rally will be Pakistan Chowk in Mardan.
Due to the rally, roads have been blocked, making it hard for ambulances to travel. An ambulance was seen being struck in traffic due to the rally.
