Reports of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) leader Anas Rizvi’s arrest have been circulating on social media.
According to a CTD source, this news of Anas Rizvi’s arrest is fake and he has not been arrested.
However, several accounts are spreading misleading information.

Earlier, it was reported that Saad Rizvi and Anas were hiding somewhere in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
So far, 44 FIRs have been registered against Saad and Anas in Sheikhupura and 11 in Lahore, in which they are nominated, according to reports.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) traced around 95 bank accounts allegedly operated by Saad Rizvi, and initiated investigations under money laundering charges.
