The Punjab government has introduced the first ever daily deep cleaning initiative in public hospitals under the ‘Punjab New Health Culture’.
The new campaign relies on top European standard sanitation along with digital monitoring systems to prevent the spread of disease.
Under the directives of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, the deep cleaning initiative has been launched in public hospitals across the province.
The CM is being kept in the loop over daily updates on the new campaign with 24/7 digital monitoring.
The deep cleaning drive includes thorough sanitation at hospital entrances, tehsil wards, hospitals across the district and many other large hospitals.
To reduce the risk of infection, operation theatres are being deep cleaned daily along with waiting rooms and washrooms.
Special cleaning chemicals are being used to clean the hospital floors. In particular, paediatric and gynecology wards are undergoing more careful cleaning.
While announcing the new initiative, CM Punjab said that the Punjab government remains committed to protecting the health of all citizens.
