Following the horrific fire in Gul Plaza, the Union President Tanveer Pasta warned that people are collecting funds in the name of Gul Plaza, but “we have sought no money from the public.”
As per details, Tanveer Pasta said that Gul Plaza has neither taken nor will take funds from any non-governmental organisation.
“Funds are being fraudulently collected using the name of Gul Plaza, adding that the Sindh government is extending assistance through the Karachi Chamber of Commerce,” he added.
The Gul Plaza Union president said their name is being misused and termed the activity a clear case of fraud. He added that the union is fully present and cooperating with all ongoing investigations.

“Until it is determined through a technical and forensic verification whether these parts are of the same person or different people, confirming the correct number [of deaths] is difficult,” he further added, Dawn reports.
