Senior Pakistani film actress Nisho Begum recently reunited with her daughter, actor Sahiba, after a long gap. The video of their meeting is going viral on social media. The reunion was emotional and pleasant, ending a period of no contact between the two.
Nisho Begum had not met her firstborn daughter since 2024. The distance reportedly began after Sahiba reconciled with her biological father and Nisho’s former husband, Inaam Rabbani.
Sahiba surprised her mother at her Lahore home while Nisho was cooking for her digital media channel. On seeing Sahiba, Nisho Begum became emotional and hugged her daughter. Sahiba asked her mother if she had missed her. Nisho replied that she missed her deeply, especially after her children moved to Karachi.
She said many people ask why she still feels young and active on social media. She credited her children’s positive energy for this. She added that unlike many others, her children never abandoned her or sent her to an old age home.
Nisho Begum is the mother of renowned actress Sahiba and has appeared in several films, including Rangeela, Jal, Tiger Gang, Insan Aur Gadha, Kubra Aashiq, Behesht, Faraz and Shikoh. Her recent notable film was Baaji, in which she played the role of actor Meera’s mother.
Popularly known as Nisho, she now runs a YouTube vlog and often makes headlines due to family-related issues discussed on her channel.
Earlier, Nisho Begum revealed that her first husband, Inaam Rabbani, left her when she was seven months pregnant with Sahiba. She alleged that he also took her car and belongings and never contacted his daughter.
Sahiba had said in an interview that she had never met her biological father as her parents separated before her birth. Following this, Rabbani approached Sahiba’s husband, actor Jan Rambo, to meet his daughter.
In April 2024, Sahiba met her biological father for the first time in her 47-year life.
