Karachi weather update: PMD forecast

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast warm and dry weather for Karachi, with haze and high clouds expected to continue.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has released a weather forecast for Karachi for the next three days.

Karachi weather

The city will see calm weather with sunshine and rising temperatures. Dry conditions will continue with high clouds and persistent haze.

On Thursday, January 29, Karachi will have the sun filtered by high clouds. The maximum temperature will reach 25°C and the minimum will be 13°C.

Winds will blow from the east-northeast. The UV index will be low at 2.0, so there is little risk of sunburn.

Friday, January 30, will be warmer with hazy sunshine. The daytime high will reach 27°C and the RealFeel temperature will be 28°C.

Evening lows will drop to 11°C. Winds will remain light from the east-northeast.

Saturday, January 31, will be the hottest day in this period. The high will reach 28°C and the low will be 13°C. Hazy sunshine will continue.

Winds will shift to a light north-northwest direction at 11 km/h. The RealFeel temperature could reach 29°C.

The haze may reduce visibility slightly and filter the sunlight. The UV index will rise to 5.0, so residents should use sunscreen during outdoor activities.

The difference between actual and RealFeel temperatures shows strong sun exposure.

Light winds of 11 to 13 km/h will not clear the haze. The wind will change from easterly to northwesterly by the end of the week. The weather will remain stable with no major changes expected.
