Reports further indicate that Junaid Akbar may be appointed as the caretaker chairman of PTI.

Resignation of Ali Amin Gandapur
Yesterday, reports of the removal of Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were in circulation.
After that, Ali Amin Gandapur resigned as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Earlier, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar told media representatives that Gandapur had been instructed to resign by Imran Khan.
He posted on X regarding sending his resignation to the Governor of the province, following instructions from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Gandapur announced on X, saying he acted in “respectful compliance” with the party leader’s orders.
Later, it was revealed that reports of the Governor’s House receiving the resignation are fake news.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that he has not yet received the resignation of outgoing KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur.
