Board of peace meeting

Pakistan has decided to take part in the first meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace, marking an important diplomatic move to support peace and stability in the region. Sources said the meeting will take place on February 19 under the chairmanship of US President Donald Trump.

Pakistan will send either the prime minister or the deputy prime minister to represent the country.

Diplomatic sources said participants will discuss the situation in Gaza, steps to promote peace and stability, and a future roadmap to address ongoing challenges.

Officials said Pakistan’s participation reflects its wider diplomatic efforts to support regional peace and help address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. They added that Islamabad remains committed to backing international initiatives aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability in the region.
