Security forces have taken timely action and contained the terrorist attack on the Police Training Centre in Dera Ismail (DI) Khan. Five terrorists have been killed in the exchange of fire, according to the reports.
According to reports, 7 to 8 terrorists attacked the Police Training Centre in Dera Ismail Khan with heavy weapons, after which an intense exchange of fire is underway between the police and the terrorists.
According to initial reports, a suicide bomber blew himself up near the training centre, after which other terrorists started firing indiscriminately.
Three terrorists have been killed so far in the timely and effective response of the police.
Due to the explosion and firing, there is severe tension in the area, while in view of the possible threat, additional police personnel have been sent to the spot from Ejaz Shaheed Police Lines to bring the situation under control as soon as possible.
After the incident, the entire area has been cordoned off, and a search operation is underway.
The operation is being directly supervised by the District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan, Sajjad Ahmed himself.
