PM Shehbaz wishes Pakistan team, tells them to ‘play with confidence’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished the Pakistan team good luck for today’s T20 World Cup match against India. PM Shehbaz also urged the Pakistan team to play with confidence. He asked the Pakistan team to give their best.

PM Shehbaz wrote in a post on X, “Best wishes to the ‘Men in Green’ as they take the field in Colombo today. Play with confidence and give it your best.”

Earlier, both the captains of Pakistan and India avoided handshaking after the toss. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first.  

In the first inning, India set a target of 176 for Pakistan to chase.
