In the latest February 2026 update of the Henley & Partners Passport Index, Pakistan’s passport improved modestly. According to the new update, Pakistan is now in 97th position, as it was in 98th in the last month. Pakistan’s passport was in the 103rd position in early 2025. However, after the recent update of Henley & Partners Passport Index, Pakistanis can travel to 32 different countries without a visa.

The new ranking shows Pakistan’s constant efforts to improve travel facilities for its citizens. Following the new update by Henley & Partners Passport Index, all citizens with a Pakistani passport can travel to 32 different destinations through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or electronic travel authorisation (eTA).

The reinstatement added an important destination to Pakistan’s travel list and helped the country move ahead of Yemen in the global ranking. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the development and called it a “strong achievement.” He said Pakistan improved its position because of ongoing diplomatic efforts and upgrades to the passport system.

Visa-free countries for Pakistanis

If you are a citizen of Pakistan and hold a Pakistani passport, you can travel to 11 countries without a visa. The visa-free countries for Pakistani passports include  Barbados, Dominica, Rwanda  , Gambia,  Haiti, Micronesia,  Montserrat  , Niue  , Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago,  Vanuatu, and the Cook Islands.

Visa-on-arrival countries

You can visit with a Pakistani passport with the facility of visa-on-arrival in different countries, including Cambodia, Maldives, Nepal and Qatar. You can also visit Samoa,  Senegal,  Sierra Leone,  Timor-Leste,  and Tuvalu on a visa-on-arrival with a Pakistani passport.

E-visa (Easy approval)

You can visit Sri Lanka and Kenya on an e-visa. An e-visa is an electronic visa, and one can apply online to get this visa and travel. The process of E-visa is not complex, and its approval is also smooth and easy.
