Pakistani drama artist and television host Javeria Saud has once again come under intense public criticism after a video clip from her live Ramzan transmission program went viral on social media.
The controversy erupted when a caller during a live call on the show criticized Javeria Saud for what he described as “inappropriate” or “bold” dressing. The caller questioned her and made remarks referring to the religious scholar seated alongside her on the show. She sarcastically asked whether the cleric could suggest any prayer so that she would refrain from wearing such clothes in the future.
Responding to the criticism Javeria Saud said that she herself does not support overly bold outfits. She clarified that during the fashion show, she wore a body suit underneath her saree and had already addressed the matter on her official Instagram and Facebook accounts.
The exchange quickly gained attention online with the video clip circulating widely across social media platforms and sparking debate.

Earlier, famous television actress, Javeria Saud appeared in a bold outfit at Pakistan Fashion Week in London, leaving many fans disappointed and enraged.
The popular showbiz host was seen wearing a black saree with a silver half blouse under a long jacket.
The actress walked the ramp at PFW in the United Kingdom (UK). The event was organized by Riwayat. She also displayed her own clothing line at the fashion show, walking with her daughter, Jannat Saud and another popular actress, Sana Nawaz.
Upon viewing her recent pictures online, many of her fans expressed great disapproval and frustration towards Javeria Saud’s bold new look.
They questioned her morals, leaving comments like ‘Is this the same Javeria who hosts Ramzan transmissions?’ and ‘She will now be seen sitting in Aitikaf during Ramzan’. On the other hand, some social media users resorted to explicit derogatory remarks, body shaming the actress along with questioning her integrity.
Other fans called her outfit choice tacky and outdated, also not sparing her daughter’s fashion sense. Another user said, ‘Was it necessary to display her belly fat?’
