Pakistani television actor Alizeh Shah has spoken out about what she said was one of the hardest years of her life with a deeply personal message during the holy month of Ramzan.
In her post, she talked about her decision of forgiveness and a focus on spiritual renewal after going through a difficult time.

Shah came to fame when she was the age of sixteen and later became a part of various hit dramas which include Ehd-e-Wafa, Dil Moum Ka Dia, Ishq Tamasha, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Taqdeer, Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani, Khail, and Ishq Beparwah.
With more than 4.3 million followers on Instagram, she regularly posts updates of her personal and professional life.
In the past she has posted cryptic messages which suggested she is having issues within the entertainment industry. She has also gone public in voicing disputes with senior people.

A Difficult Year and Spiritual Turning Point
In her most recent post, Shah reflected on experiencing emotional struggle and feeling that she is far away from her faith.
She described moments of feeling lost and disconnected from Allah saying “the darkness at times felt heavier than my belief.”
She called Ramzan a turning point and expressed that she is choosing to forgive and be at peace with herself.
“I am choosing to forgive all those persons who ever hurt me, not because they deserve it, but because my soul deserves peace,” she wrote.
She too asked for forgiveness from Allah and that He forgive her as she learns to forgive others.
Gratitude and Self-Discovery
Shah credited her parents for supporting her through what she referred to as a very dark phase in life. She said their patience and love as well as the hope Allah put in her heart helped her move forward.
Her reflective post has resonated in the hearts of fans during the month of Ramzan.
