Sher Afzal Marwat has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleema Khan wanted her son Shair Shah to become the chairman of the party. Sher Afzal Marwat made this claim during a Twitter space on Saturday.

Marwat also revealed that Aleema Khan controlled the entire social media of PTI and paid YouTubers to do propaganda against state institutions. He also criticised that Aleema Khan is the only one who is responsible for the damage to PTI.

Marwat urged Aleema Khan to shut her mouth to avoid more damage to PTI.

Earlier in May 2024, PTI had issued a show-cause notice to Sher Afzal Marwat for violating the party’s code of conduct and criticising senior party leaders. It was the time when PTI leader Omar Ayub had announced that the party had decided to remove Sher Afzal Marwat from the party’s core and political committees at the direction of PTI founder Imran Khan.

Sher Afzal Marwat against PTI?

After a show-cause notice, Sher Afzal Marwat started criticising PTI leadership and claimed that the senior party leaders misguided PTI founder Imran Khan. “Imran has been misguided on every matter. There are many such matters which I will bring to light once they (Faraz and Ayub) give their statements,” Sher Afzal said in May 2024 while speaking to the media outside Adiala jail.

Now, Sher Afzal Marwat is criticising Aleema Khan for exploiting PTI workers to do propaganda against the government and state institutions.

Sher Afzal Marwat said that Aleema Khan made the “Galam Galoch Brigade” as the PTI social media team, adding that the individuals in the “Galam Galoch Brigade” are being paid by Aleema Khan for doing propaganda in the country.
