The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has introduced a new facility to make it easier and faster for the people to get a driving license.
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also completely digitised the learner driving license issuance process for the LTV and HTV transport vehicles under which the applicant will be able to submit his application online sitting at home and receive his learner license within a short time after completing the process.
This service has been devised by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board with administrative support of Transport Director and the Transport and Mass Transit Department.
The service is now available on Dastak mobile application.
The citizens can download the app fill their personal details, pay the necessary fee online the learner driving license will be issued after digital verification.
The provincial government said more services will be moved online in the future to facilitate e-governance in the province as well as introduce modern facilities to the public.
The initiative is aimed at saving citizen from long queues and unnecessary delays and help the citizen to complete legal requirements in a minimum time.
Punjab Police brings driving license services to doorsteps
Earlier it was reported that Punjab Police had taken an important step to make obtaining driving licenses easier and reduce the daily difficulties faced by citizens.
The van provide services from 9 AM to 3 PM. Citizens can apply for new driving licenses, learner permits, and other related services directly from the mobile van.
The initiative aims to save citizens from unnecessary trips to offices and allow them to complete legal requirements closer to their homes.
Many people face long queues, time constraints, and repeated visits when applying for a driving license.
The mobile van helps resolve these issues by offering fast and organised services. Police officers are also present at the site to guide citizens through all legal and administrative procedures.
Punjab Police urged citizens to bring their necessary documents. It includes national identity cards and other required papers to avoid any difficulties.
