In a recent development, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sohail Afridi directed authorities to withdraw the security of former chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur. According to the media reports, the differences between the two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have increased.
The reports also confirmed that last night CM Sohail Afridi has decided to take the security back of former CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur.
It is pertinent to mention that former CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur received several threats in the past, and unknown persons attacked his house with a hand grenade as well.
Why did Ali Amin Gandapur praise Mohsin Naqvi?
Earlier, the former CM KP Gandapur also praised the interior minister Mohsin Naqvi. Ali Amin Gandapur said that Mohsin Naqvi made maximum efforts for the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.
He criticised his party leadership, saying, “No one in PTI has tried as hard as Mohsin Naqvi to free Imran Khan.”
Ali Amin Gandapur also criticised PTI’s Aleem Khan and said that she needs to keep her mouth shut to avoid more damage to PTI.
However, the former CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur also said that currently, he is not in a position to do anything for PTI or Imran Khan.
Ali Amin Gandapur is a senior PTI leader, and after the 2024 elections, Imran Khan appointed him the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
He is basically from Dera Ismail Khan and belongs to a very famous Gandapur tribe.
However, these days his relationship with PTI’s leadership is not good as the PTI senior leadership blamed him for supporting the military establishment.
