At least six people, including a minor lost their lives after unknown assailants opened fire on a house in Turbat, Balochistan, today (Wednesday).
The cowardly attack was carried out in the Buleda area of Balochistan’s Turbat on Wednesday.
The deceased includes a woman, whereas two others have been injured in the incident, added the police. The bodies of the deceased and the injured have been transferred to Turbat Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Yesterday, security forces gunned down five terrorists of Fitna Al Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Pishin district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
According to ISPR, a suicide bomber, along with four other Indian-sponsored Khwarij, was killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in the Pishin district of Balochistan.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the entire tashkeel with multiple weapons. After an intense fire exchange, suicide bomber Kharji cowardly blew himself up and four other Indian sponsored Khwarij were hunted down and sent to hell.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the Khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the news release said.
7 terrorists killed as security forces foil border infiltration at Pak-Afghan border
Earlier, Security forces stopped an attempted terrorist infiltration at the Pak-Afghan border in the area of Pishin, Balochistan.
During this intelligence-based operation, seven terrorists were killed, and two were injured.
The security forces neutralised the terrorist group and cleared the area at the Pak-Afghan border.
According to sources, this group, under the command of foreign commander Basir, was attempting to infiltrate.
The foreign commander is the mastermind behind the September 30 attack near the FC headquarters.
