A senior adviser to Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday that Iran will not negotiate with the United States and is ready to continue the war.
Speaking to state TV, Mohammad Mokhber said Iran does not trust the US and sees no reason to hold talks. “We have no trust in the Americans and no basis for negotiations,” he said. He added that Iran can continue the war for as long as it wants.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also criticised US President Donald Trump, saying he has “betrayed diplomacy and the Americans who elected him.” In a post on X, Araghchi said serious nuclear talks cannot be handled like business deals and warned that false claims only create unrealistic expectations.
Meanwhile, Israel’s military said Iran still has the ability to launch missiles despite ongoing Israeli strikes. Military spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin said Israeli forces have destroyed dozens of missile launchers that posed a serious threat.
He added that Israel will continue targeting missile sites but admitted that Iran still has strong capabilities. “Our defence is not impenetrable,” he said.

The YAK-130 fighter jet is an advanced fighter jet compared to Israel’s F4 and F5 fighter jets. According to multiple media reports, YAK-130 fighter jets can create problems for Israeli jets and American drones. These jets are perfect for close-range “stand-in” attacks.
