A famous influencer has announced that he is quitting YouTube after releasing an emotional vlog in which he alleged severe mental harassment by his family over his inter-caste marriage.
The YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, popularly known online as UK07 Rider, rose to fame after appearing on the Indian reality show Bigg Boss 17.
Dobhal married Ritika last May, and the couple announced their first pregnancy in September, making the revelations particularly shocking for his fans.
In the video, the influencer said his life had changed drastically over the past few months, leaving him emotionally shattered and struggling to cope.
“Over the last few months, my life changed so drastically that I never imagined it would break me like this,” he said.
He also revealed that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 14 and claimed he faced immense pressure from his family throughout his life, often sacrificing his own needs.
According to him, the conflict escalated after his marriage, when he was allegedly forced to apologise publicly to relatives and pressured by his parents.
“I was made to fold my hands, touch their feet and apologise in front of relatives. My parents said they would neither stay happy nor let me live happily,” he said in the video.
The influencer further claimed that the ongoing stress pushed him into deep emotional distress and even led him to attempt suicide.
“I don’t know how to eliminate this feeling. After this video I might disappear. I just want to sleep. I haven’t eaten for five days and my mind is completely exhausted,” he added.
He also accused his brother of threatening him and taking control of his properties and dogs. In the video, he left an emotional message for his wife, saying he always loved her and had done everything for their relationship.
