Emirates has issued a major update regarding its flight operations for passengers travelling to and from Pakistan.
In a social media post on its official handle, Emirates confirmed that services have now resumed after earlier disruptions.
In a statement, the Dubai-based airline said that its previous operational update issued earlier in the day is no longer valid and has been removed to avoid confusion.
The airline confirmed that flight operations have resumed, and passengers with confirmed bookings on afternoon flights are advised to proceed to the airport as scheduled.
This also includes travellers transiting through Dubai, provided that their connecting flights are operating.
Emirates advised customers to check the latest flight schedules and availability before travelling, as operations may continue to be adjusted depending on the situation.
The airline added that it is closely monitoring developments and will update its operational schedule accordingly.
Emirates flight suspension
Earlier, Emirates suspended all its flights to and from Dubai, urging people not to go to the airport.
Flights had partially resumed on Monday from Dubai’s main airport, the world’s busiest for international traffic, despite daily drone attacks targeting sites in the United Arab Emirates.
Saudia airline latest update on flights
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, Saudia, also announced a major update regarding flights for passengers stranded due to recent regional travel disruptions.
In a statement issued, the airline confirmed that it will partially resume flight operations to Dubai starting Saturday (today). The restored services will include both outbound and inbound flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to the emirate.
According to the airline, the flights will initially operate on a limited schedule, with plans to gradually increase services as the situation stabilises.
The announcement comes after Saudia suspended several international routes following the escalation of the Iran conflict last weekend. The affected destinations included Amman, Kuwait City, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Manama, Moscow and Peshawar.
The airline said it will continue to monitor the regional situation and update passengers regarding further restoration of its flight network.
Etihad Airways resumes flight operation
Etihad Airways earlier announced the resumption of limited commercial flight operations starting March 6, 2026, after suspending several services due to the ongoing situation in Gulf countries.
The airline said the decision was taken in coordination with relevant authorities following extensive safety and security assessments.
Limited flight operations begin
Etihad confirmed that it will operate a restricted flight schedule between Abu Dhabi and several key international destinations, including routes serving passengers travelling to and from Pakistan.
Passengers who had previous bookings will be accommodated on the resumed flights as soon as possible, while new tickets are also available through the airline’s official website.
However, the airline has advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Etihad or have a confirmed booking.
