Dubai airport update: Why are thousands of passengers stuck?

Dubai Airport flight delay Iran-Israel war

Amid the Iran-Israel war, the passengers are facing difficulty at Dubai airport. In the different videos, it can be seen that the entire airport is overcrowded, but the flights are limited. On February 28, Israel and the US launched attacks on Iran.

In the US-Israel airstrikes, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed. After the killing of Syed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran targeted US military bases in Gulf countries, including the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Oman.

Due to the war panic, thousands of people left Dubai, and when the war escalated, then the flight operations in the entire region were interrupted. Now, it is difficult for several people to leave Dubai due to limited flight operations.

According to the latest updates, Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum (DWC) have started a limited flight operation after a temporary suspension.

Don’t travel without booking

Dubai authorities advised passengers to avoid travelling if the flight booking is not confirmed. The authorities said that there is still uncertainty regarding the flight schedule. However, multiple airlines are sharing the latest updates through their official websites or other platforms.

At the same time, Emirates has also started their flight operation after a short break. The Emirates officials said that the passengers with confirmed bookings can go to the airport for travel.

Consider a few things before travel

Passengers need to consider a few things before travelling. The major thing they need to check is that they have a confirmed flight booking. If the flight booking is not confirmed, the passengers should avoid going to the Dubai airport for travel.

These days, it would be better if the passengers keep their luggage to a minimum to avoid any inconvenience.
