The air is unbreathable in Tehran right now, and the toxic black rain in Iran will affect many Asian countries’ weather.

According to reports, an extratropical storm over northern Iran, which brought rain filled with toxins and petroleum-based substances to Tehran, will move into Turkmenistan.

The system will cause the formation of a new ETS over Afghanistan, bringing widespread rain/hail/snow to Pakistan, which shares a border with Iran.

According to international reports, the toxic black rain in Iran can cause chemical burns and lung damage.

The residents living in Tehran have been advised to stay indoors and cover any openings with damp pieces of cloth, and remove any clothes contaminated by the rainwater and seal them in a bag.

After the rainfall, the Red Crescent also recommended that people in Tehran pressure wash their vehicles and exteriors of their homes to prevent buildup that can then flow back into the air as “toxic dust”.

What caused the black toxic rain in Iran?

On Saturday, Israel targeted an oil storage facility in Tehran, killing at least four people.

After this incident, thick smoke filled the sky over Tehran.

The Aghdasieh oil warehouse in northeast Tehran, the Tehran refinery in the south, the Shahran oil depot in the west of Tehran, and an oil depot in Karaj city were the facilities targeted.
