Pakistan’s armed forces have targeted the Brigade Headquarters in Pul Charkhi area of Kabul, Afghanistan.
The forces have also struck at the Kandahar Core Headquarters in Afghanistan, as loud explosions have been reported in the area.
According to the post on X, loud explosions were witnessed by the city.
Multiple attacks by Pakistani forces
According to media reports from Afghanistan, the Pakistan Air Force carried out bombing strikes on key terrorist training centres in Kabul, Khost, and Kandahar.
The reports indicate that the Taliban regime had been sheltering senior commanders and fighters of banned terrorist groups such as the TTP, Al-Qaeda, ISIS, BLA, Gul Bahadur Group, and others at these centres.
These facilities were reportedly being used to plan terrorist operations targeting Pakistan.
Following the Pakistan Air Force strike in Kandahar, loud explosions were heard at Kandahar Airport and nearby military installations, shaking the area.
Media reports describe clouds of smoke rising as local security forces cordoned off the surrounding regions.
Heavy explosions have also been reported in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Pakistani forces reportedly targeted the Pul-e-Charkhi Brigade Headquarters, causing loud blasts and spreading panic in the area.
There has been no official confirmation of casualties or property damage so far.
Media reports suggest that these operations were conducted in response to the ongoing security situation in the region, with further details awaited.
