Several media reports claimed that the Hajj flights have been suspended due to the ongoing tension in the region, particularly in the Middle East. However, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has rejected the reports and confirmed that the Hajj flights are planned according to the schedule.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony said that all media reports regarding the suspension of Hajj flights are fake. A spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs clarified that there is no change in the arrangements of the Hajj 2026 schedule, adding that the Hajj flights are also planned according to the schedule.

The spokesperson of the ministry also stated that some media channels are reporting on the suspension of the Hajj flights, but this news is fake and has no actual basis. The spokesperson said that all the Hajj flights are planned according to the schedule and there is no suspension or delay in Hajj flights due to security tension in the Middle East.

The spokesperson also said that the official Hajj flight schedule will be announced after Eid ul Fitr.

Details for pilgrims regarding Hajj flights

After Eid ul Fitr, pilgrims will be provided with details regarding Hajj flights and their accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, the spokesperson of the ministry added.

Earlier, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony also directed the private visa consultant to make all the arrangements for pilgrims before March 15, a private media outlet reported.

Hajj flights arrangements

All these Hajj arrangements are being made to avoid any inconvenience, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony added.

“To avoid any unforeseen eventuality due to the Eid holiday or any other reason, it is imperative that the visa process be completed by March 15,” a March 9 correspondence to the Chairman of Hajj Organisers Association of Pakistan (HOAP) and Hajj companies said.
