Training Aircraft Crash Lands in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A training aircraft was forced to make a crash landing in the Gujjar Khan tehsil of Rawalpindi district on Friday afternoon after developing a technical fault, sources confirmed.

The pilots were evacuated with minor injuries.

The aircraft reportedly belongs to the Rawalpindi Flying Club and had two people on board, a male pilot and a female trainee pilot.

According to sources, a technical malfunction occurred mid-flight, prompting the pilot to take emergency action. The pilot successfully maneuvered the training aircraft, making a skilful crash landing into open fields, thereby averting a potentially catastrophic accident.

Both the pilot and the trainee pilot sustained only minor injuries in the incident. Their condition is reported to be stable and better.
