PPP’s leader Senator Sherry Rehman’s daughter Marvi Malik passed away due to a brain haemorrhage at the age of 35 today.
Marvi Malik, aged 35, left behind her family, her friends and her well-wishers in deep grief after passing away in Karachi after battling with a brain haemorrhage.
She had been on treatment at a private hospital in Clifton, where she was admitted five days ago after her condition suddenly deteriorated.
Despite intensive medical care, her condition continued to deteriorate and she was put on a ventilator three days ago.
Family members confirmed that she could not recover and she succumbed to the haemorrhage.
According to relatives, Marvi was in a critical condition all through her stay in hospital with the doctors trying their best to stabilise her.
However, her situation got worse in the last days, and caused her untimely demise at the age of 35.
Her funeral prayers are going to be held Monday at 3:30pm DHA phase 8 Karachi. She will be buried in a local cemetery after the prayers.
President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his sorrow at the tragic loss paraying for the departed soul and strength for the grieving family.
He prayed that her forgiveness is granted by Allah and her ranks are raised in the hereafter.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his heartfelt condolences and said the loss of a child is an indescribable pain.
He sent his sympathies to the bereaved family.
Condolences have also flowed across the political spectrum with leaders expressing solidarity with Senator Sherry Rehman and her family in this time of great grief.
