Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has expressed deep disappointment over Afghanistan’s attitude towards Pakistan and its recent aggression at the borders.
In a tweet, he reminded Afghanistan that Pakistan has always stood by the country and welcomed Afghan refugees.

“I personally care for 350 Afghan households according to my means,” he added.
He urged Afghan authorities to avoid actions that harm regional stability and bilateral relations.
He also reminded that Pakistan is Afghanistan’s brotherly Islamic country and should not be used by any state that is already supporting terrorists inside Pakistan.
Pakistan will hold talks with Afghanistan in Doha today (Saturday).
The talks will primarily focus on “immediate measures to end cross-border terrorism against Pakistan emanating from Afghanistan” and on restoring “peace and stability along the Pak-Afghan border.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Pakistan does not seek escalation but urges the Afghan Taliban authorities to honour their commitments to the international community and address Pakistan’s legitimate security concerns by taking verifiable action against terrorist entities, including the FAK/TTP and FAH/BLA.”
