Karachi: Police encounter in Scheme 33, robbers including injured arrested

In Shehr-e-Quaid, Sachal police arrested three robbers, including the injured, during an alleged police encounter in the Wakeel Society area of ​​Scheme 33 in Karachi.

According to the Karachi police, one accused, Saifullah, was injured during the encounter and was immediately shifted to the hospital, while the other two accused, Atiq and Affan, were arrested and shifted to the police station.

Karachi police said that a pistol, mobile phones, cash and a motorcycle have been recovered from the possession of the arrested accused in Scheme 33 area.

Karachi police reveal list of servants involved in robberies

Earlier, after a rapid rise in the robbery incidents, the Karachi police revealed a list of 463 servants who were involved in crimes across the metropolis.

According to a report, police compiled a blue book for male criminals and a pink book for female criminals.

As of yet, 188 names of women workers have been added to the Pink book, whereas 275 men have been named in Blue book.

Sindh Police launch crackdown on transporters

Sindh Police and Motorway Police in Karachi began a joint operation against transporters over high fares and unsafe transport practices ahead of Eid ul Fitr.

The campaign was carried out by Sindh Police and Motorway Police, with safety checks at the Jamshoro toll plaza.

Senior officers, including SP Motorway Police Adeel Shehzad and DPO Jamshoro Zafar Siddique, were also present during the operation.
