In a move that caught many by surprise, Xiaomi has quietly introduced its new Redmi Note 15 series in Pakistan without any formal announcement.
Just days earlier, several Mi outlets in major cities including Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad had indicated that the launch could take another month or two. However, the devices have now appeared in the market sooner than expected, leaving many buyers and retailers surprised.
The company has released two models under the lineup: the Redmi Note 15 and the Redmi Note 15 Pro, both targeting mid-range users with strong features.
Here are the prices for the Redmi Note 15 series in Pakistan:
| Model | RAM | Storage | Price |
| Redmi Note 15 | 8GB | 128GB | Rs70,000 |
| Redmi Note 15 | 8GB | 256GB | Rs75,000 |
| Redmi Note 15 Pro | 8GB | 256GB | Rs95,000 |
| Redmi Note 15 Pro | 12GB | 512GB | Rs115,000 |
Redmi Note 15 focuses on everyday performance
The standard Redmi Note 15 comes with 8GB RAM and offers two storage options. The 128GB variant is priced at Rs70,000, while the 256GB version is available for Rs75,000, showing only a small price difference between the two.
The phone features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smooth scrolling and a better viewing experience. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra processor and includes a 108MP main camera, supported by AI features for improved photos.
A large 6000mAh battery powers the device, with support for 33W fast charging and reverse charging. The phone also offers IP64 protection against dust and splashes, along with a reinforced body for better durability.
Redmi Note 15 Pro brings higher-end features
For users looking for more power and advanced features, Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi Note 15 Pro.
The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs95,000, while the top-end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs Rs115,000.
The Pro model steps up with a more powerful MediaTek Helio G200-Ultra chip built on a 4nm process. It also features a brighter AMOLED display with peak brightness of up to 3200 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
One of the key highlights is its 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The device packs a larger 6500mAh battery with faster 45W charging.
Additional features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, IP65 water and dust resistance, and several AI tools for image editing and enhancement.
Early arrival may boost competition
The unexpected early launch could help Xiaomi gain an edge in Pakistan’s competitive smartphone market, especially in the mid-range segment where buyers often look for strong features at reasonable prices.
With both models now available, the Redmi Note 15 series is likely to attract users seeking a balance between performance, camera quality and battery life without moving into premium price ranges.
