Canada offers multiple opportunities for employment and permanent residency, for which visa applications have been invited from Pakistani citizens and individuals from other countries.
Canada has invited skilled professional citizens from Pakistan and other countries to apply under its Express Entry immigration system, where selection will be made based on specific categories.
Currently, Canada is seeking individuals from the following fields:
- Medical doctors and researchers
- Senior managers with work experience in Canada
- French-speaking workers
- Health and social services staff
- Skilled workers
- Teachers
- Experts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
- Individuals associated with the transport sector
The purpose of these specific rounds is to select candidates who meet Canada’s needs. For this, the candidate’s language proficiency, work experience in a specific field, and educational qualifications are assessed.
The Canadian government announces these categories in advance so that eligible candidates can prepare their applications on time.

Conditions:
- Candidates must meet both the general requirements of Express Entry as well as the specific requirements of their category
- Once selected, candidates must submit their application for Express Entry within 60 days
- The fee for Permanent Residency is 575 Canadian dollars
