Eight Fitna al Khwarij sent to hell in successful North Waziristan operation

The movement of a group of Khwarij along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan District was picked up by the security forces on 1 April 2026.

According to ISPR, “own troops effectively engaged this group of khwarij. As a result of precise and skillful engagement, eight khwarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij were sent to hell. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from Indian sponsored killed khwarij.”

The Pak Army media wing said “the engagement once again substantiate our repeated stance regarding abject failure of Afghan Taliban regime to ensure effective border management on their side of the border. Afghan Taliban Regime must fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by khwarij and involvement of its citizens in terrorism inside Pakistan.”

“The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers. Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR added.

President, Prime Minister laud Pak army operation

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have appreciated security forces for their successful operation against Fitna al Khawarij in the Pakistan-Afghanistan border area of North Waziristan.

In a statement, the President said role of the security forces in defending the country and protecting its borders is commendable:

Asif Ali Zardari urged the Afghan interim government to prevent its territory from being used against Pakistan for terrorism.   

In his statement, the Prime Minister affirmed that the fight against the menace of terrorism will continue until it is completely eradicated from the country.

He said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the  Armed Forces in the unwavering resolve to combat terrorism.

Security Forces conduct major operations in Balochistan,

Earlier, Pakistan’s security forces carried out a series of coordinated, intelligence-based operations in several districts of Balochistan, targeting networks linked to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), according to the reports on Monday.

These operations took place in Panjgur, Kharan, Kalat, Mastung, Turbat and Quetta.

According to the details, a total of 32 suspected militants were killed during the operations.

In addition to this, 17 others were injured. Security forces also detained 11 individuals alive during different raids and search actions, according to the details.

In Panjgur, a local BLA commander identified as Nazir, also known as Chakar, was killed along with seven of his associates.

In Kharan, a drone strike targeted a vehicle that was carrying BLA militants. The strike destroyed the vehicle and killed four people at the scene, according to the details.

In addition, as per the reports, the information obtained from detained suspects pointed to the use of cross border routes through Kunar and Kandahar for movement and support.
