Kim Kardashian is said to be “heartbroken” following the UK government’s denial of the visa application of her ex-husband, Kanye West.
The reality television star, who has four children with the Gold Digger rapper, fears that Kanye’s recent public disgrace will significantly affect her children’s future.
“This isn’t just about Kanye,” an insider disclosed to Rob Shuter. “This concerns the children, their future, and the implications it has for them.”
“Eventually, they will realise that their father is banned from entering a country,” she added. “That is a heavy burden for any child to bear.”
The source further mentioned that Kim Kardashian is “struggling to shield them from as much distress as possible, yet she is also aware of the reality of the situation” amid the recent ban on Kanye West.
Highlighting Kim’s main concern, the insider said, “Her greatest fear is that they will suffer consequences for their father’s actions, that they will bear this injustice.”
“She desires for them to feel secure, cherished, and distanced from the turmoil,” the inside source added.
On April 6, Ye filed a request to visit Britain, but the UK government has rejected the application, citing that his presence would not be “beneficial to the public good.”
Music festival gets cancelled due to Kanye West’s UK ban
The Wireless music festival has been cancelled following the ban on the artist formerly known as Kanye West from entering the UK, amid escalating political tensions regarding his prior antisemitic remarks. West, who is legally recognized as Ye, was scheduled to headline the festival for all three days in July.
He submitted a request for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) to travel to the UK on Monday, however, this request was denied by officials.
A representative for the London festival confirmed that the event would not take place in July and stated that refunds would be provided to customers who had already purchased tickets.
The statement released on Tuesday read,“The Home Office has withdrawn Ye’s ETA, denying him entry into the United Kingdom. As a result, the Wireless festival is cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.”
