Hyderabad Kingsmen eye clean sweep in remaining games: Saim Ayub

Hyderabad Kingsmen brilliant young batter Saim Ayub has said the team is focusing on improving its own performance rather than depending on other teams’ results. With six matches still to play, he expressed confidence that his side can win all remaining games, adding that nothing is impossible.

He stated that his team is concentrating on improving its own performance instead of relying on other teams’ results. With six matches remaining, he believes they can win all six, stating that nothing is impossible.

Speaking to a private TV channel, he stated that despite a poor start, the dressing room environment remains very good and has improved further. He added that the team is not thinking about results at the moment but is instead focused on how they can improve their performance.

He admitted that the team made mistakes in the early matches but said the players are working hard to correct them. Talking about the team’s performance, Saim Ayub said that the way they lost the last two matches is part of the game. Players do make mistakes, but the team is trying to minimise these errors and improve with each match.

Referring to the unpredictable nature of the tournament, he said that every team experiences ups and downs. He pointed out that last year, Islamabad United won their first five matches but lost the next five, while Lahore Qalandars were unsure of qualification until the final match, yet went on to win the tournament.

Saim Ayub emphasised that the team is sticking to its strategy and focusing on the process rather than the outcome. He said they are not overly worried about results and remain confident, adding that the rest is in the hands of Allah. On the topic of form, he said he does not strongly believe in the concept of being “in form” or “out of form.”

Sometimes a player may not be playing well, but still scores runs, and at other times, a player may be playing well without scoring. He concluded by saying that he is focusing on his batting, and even when he fails, he is failing while playing the way he wants.
