Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that it is a proud moment for Pakistan, as the country is now playing a leading role at the global level.
In a post on X, she said the development highlights the strength, dignity and unwavering determination of the Pakistani nation.
“Today is a proud moment for Pakistan. Few people would have imagined that our nation would play a leading role at the global level, but today we stand here,” she stated.
She added that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, have played a key role in restoring the country’s dignity and prestige.
She said that it is a proud moment for Pakistan, as the nation is playing a leading role at the global level. She said that today highlights the strength, dignity, and unwavering determination of the Pakistani people.
“Our leadership has given Pakistan new self-confidence and respect, which makes every Pakistani feel truly proud,” she added.
Maryam Nawaz further said in her post that every Pakistani is filled with pride in these historic moments that strengthen national unity. She said today reflects the strength, dignity, and unwavering determination of the Pakistani nation before the world.
She also stated that Allah Almighty has bestowed an extraordinary honour upon Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. She said a potentially devastating conflict was averted through decisive and courageous leadership, and that due to the remarkable reconciliation efforts of the Pakistani leadership, countless innocent lives were saved and the world was spared a major tragedy.
