Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, on Monday said that he will speak to the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, to let the fans attend Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.
While addressing the media in Karachi, Mohsin Naqvi said, “I will speak again to the prime minister regarding the crowd.”
He further said that PCB will make every possible effort to bring the spectators back to the stadium.
Chairman PCB also pointed towards the Middle East crisis and the ongoing conflict between the US and Iran.
Mohsin Naqvi responded to the answers after the government announced that PSL matches would commence without fans, as a part of the government’s austerity measures due to the regional crisis.
Naqvi has limited the PSL tournament to two cities only, including Lahore and Karachi.

According to the media reports, many franchise owners have also requested to allow the fans to attend the PSL 11 matches.
They appealed to both the PM and the chief ministers (CMs) of the provinces to permit the spectators at the stadiums.

He instructed to maintain tight security while the matches are being held at their respective venues.
Chairman PCB also said that the owners of the franchises will be receiving the gate money, as the board will be covering every other expense.
