Pakistan’s Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf has warned that the country is ready to counter any aggression.
Addressing a PAF passing out parade in Risalpur, the naval chief congratulated the graduating cadets and praised their achievement, saying that cadets passing out from PAF Academy Asghar Khan carry forward a proud legacy of service.
He said that the Pakistan Air Force is a strong and modern force equipped with advanced technology. Referring to Pakistan’s win against India last year, he said the air force demonstrated exceptional operational capabilities and proved its strength not only in conventional warfare but also in cyber and electronic warfare domains.
Admiral Naveed Ashraf also underscored the vital role of the Pakistan Navy in safeguarding the country’s maritime borders.
He added that during recent tensions, the Pakistan Navy effectively deterred the Indian Navy from any aggressive actions, reaffirming Pakistan’s strong defensive posture and commitment to national security.
Admiral Ashraf further stated that the Pakistan Navy continues to play a crucial role in defending the country’s maritime frontiers and remains fully prepared to respond effectively to any aggression.
Referring to global developments, he noted that tensions between Iran and United States, along with disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, have impacted global oil supplies.
He added that with the support of the nation, Pakistan’s armed forces are successfully combating terrorism. He also credited the country’s political and military leadership for contributing to a ceasefire in the Middle East and thanked Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu for attending the ceremony.
